What makes HALO Everyday bottles different?
HALO Everyday bottles are more than drink bottles. Each one carries a meaningful affirmation designed to encourage confidence, kindness, courage, growth and a sense of belonging. Every sip becomes a small reminder of who your child is and who they're becoming.
Why "HALO Everyday"?
We believe everyday moments matter. Whether it's a school day, a family outing or a sports game, our bottles encourage healthy hydration while filling little hearts with words that build confidence, courage, kindness and belonging, one sip at a time.
Why are affirmations important?
Children develop their inner voice from the words they hear every day. Positive affirmations can help build confidence, resilience, self-worth and emotional wellbeing. HALO bottles make these encouraging words part of everyday routines.

The bottles
What are the bottles made from?
Our bottles are made from 304 food-grade stainless steel. They are BPA-free, non-toxic, durable and designed for everyday adventures.
Are the bottles safe for children?
Yes. Safety is our priority. Our bottles are made from food-safe materials and are free from BPA.
What size are the bottles?
Each HALO bottle holds 14 oz (about 414 ml), the right size for little hands with plenty of water for the day.
What age are the bottles suitable for?
Our bottles are designed for children who can drink confidently from a straw, usually from around two and up.
How long do drinks stay cold?
Our double-wall vacuum insulation keeps drinks cold for up to 24 hours, perfect for school, daycare, sports and family outings. We don't recommend hot drinks with the straw lid, as warm liquid can come through the straw quickly.
Are the bottles leak-proof?
Yes. When the lid is closed correctly, the bottles are designed to be leak-proof, ready for backpacks and lunch bags.
Can I put milk or juice in the bottle?
Yes. The bottles suit water, milk, juice and smoothies. Please wash the bottle thoroughly after each use, especially after dairy.
Can I use the bottle for fizzy drinks?
We don't recommend carbonated drinks, as pressure can build up inside the bottle and cause leaks or spills when opened.
Are the bottles environmentally friendly?
Yes. A reusable stainless steel bottle helps reduce single-use plastic and encourages sustainable habits from an early age.
Care
Can I put the bottle in the dishwasher?
To protect the insulation, finish and engraving, we recommend hand washing only.
How do I clean the straw?
Use a thin straw cleaning brush with warm soapy water after each use, then let it air dry. Cleaning brushes are coming soon.
Do you sell replacement straws?

Can I personalise my bottle?

Do personalised orders take longer?
Yes. Each personalised bottle is engraved to order, so it takes longer to dispatch than our ready-to-ship bottles. The expected timeframe will be shown on the product page before you order. If your order includes both personalised and ready-to-ship items, we'll send everything together once the personalised bottle is ready.
Can personalised bottles be returned?
As they're made just for your child, personalised bottles can't be returned or exchanged. Please double-check spelling before ordering. If there's a fault or an error on our part, we'll put it right.
Shipping
Where do you ship?
We currently ship throughout New Zealand, with international shipping coming soon.
How long will shipping take?
Ready-to-ship orders are dispatched same or next business day. Delivery usually takes 1–3 business days after dispatch, and rural addresses can take a little longer. Personalised orders take longer to dispatch (see Personalisation above).
How much is shipping?
Shipping is calculated at checkout. Free standard shipping applies to all New Zealand orders over $69.
Returns and wholesale
What is your returns policy?
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, let us know as soon as possible, ideally within 48 hours, with photos. We don't accept change-of-mind returns or exchanges. See our full Returns and Refunds policy for details.
